| American Kennel Club for Purebred Dogs - very slick site for the definitive voice in canine breeds, including the competetive breed standard and scoring points. |
| United Kennel Club - Founded in 1898, this is the second largest all-breed club in the USA, with a focus on "the total dog." Do not ignore them just because they are not the largest, most-recognized name in town. |
| Assistance Dogs International - coalition of not for profit organizations that train and place guide dogs for the blind and the visually impaired, hearing dogs for the deaf and hard of hearing and service dogs for the people with other physical disabilities. |
